About Lucy
EDM Singer Songwriter Lucy Clarke is known for her versatile, eclectic and unique style as a writer and performer. Her many successes include releases with Strictly Rhythm, Hed Kandi, Miss Moneypenny’s and Armada Records among many others.
Early Career
Teaming up with Simon Paul artist Management in 2005, Lucy kick started her music career, working hard on developing and crafting her songwriting and vocal skills. With her first release in 2007, Lucy amassed radio airplay, gaining the support of Judge Jules’ and DJ Kutski on Radio 1, as well as regular plays on Kiss 100 with Miss Moneypenny’s. In 2010, Lucy was published by Notting Hill Music Publishing in London, beginning an explosion of exciting and successful collaborations showing her versatility and diversity as a talented singer songwriter in multiple genres of the UK and European dance industry.
Eclectic passion
Lucy’s passion for all genres of dance music found her working with the top producers in House, Electro, Trance, Hard Dance, Hard House, UKG to D’n’B and Hardcore; building an impressive catalogue and discography of over 300 written & 75 releases worldwide. See Lucy Clarke Discogs
Collaborations with the Eyereel Allstars, birthed the dance tune “Get It On”, which found Lucy working with Strictly Rhythm(Redstick Recordings) in 2008. ‘Get it on” charted on Billboard, receiving enormous radio support as well as being signed to multiple compilations, such as Hed Kandi in both the UK and US.
In 2010, Lucy met Alan Stott, beginning a creative and prolific journey as Trance Duo ‘Neutron & Star’ (Alan Stott & Lucy Clarke ) bringing an stunning string of releases with remixes from Producers such as Mike Koglin, Natlife and Corderoy.
Taking a brief sabbatical from performing, Lucy threw herself into relentlessly working to create and evolve the VSA (Vocalist Songwriters Alliance), an organisation fighting for the fairness and rights of artists in the music industry. Lucy’s strength, determination and commitment to her fellow artists, shone a beacon of light and hope that would inspire, support and inform hundreds of singer songwriters all over the world.
Coming back to her inherent love of music in 2016, Lucy teamed up with UK Producer Mike Jolly, releasing the Mike and Mechanic’s cover ‘Now That You’ve Gone’ and are currently in the studio with releases expected soon on Ninth Floor Recordings.
Live Performance
Lucy performs at clubs and festivals all over the UK, Russia and Ibiza and is currently preparing for another Neutron & Star LIVE PA this Summer as well as working with Echo Boat Party in conjunction with their forthcoming release with Perplexed Records.
She is now featured on the line-up for Magical Festival, West Sussex in July 2019.
Collaborations and Projects
House Artist Shena Winchester, known for the Michael Grey hit’ The Weekend’ has recorded Vocals for one of Lucy’s songs written alongside Producer Danny Russell, with the help of Full Intention (Michael Grey and Jon Pearn) who have also added their super talents into the mix by remixing Lucy’s collaboration with Mike Jolly.
Lucy was back working with Grant Richards who is part of the duo ‘Deeptrak’ and they released a track together in 2017.
In 2019, she is looking forward to releases with Producers such as Ben Mitchell, Another Ambition, Paul Coopes, Ben Rainey, Scott Judge, Neutron & Star & more to follow.
On top of all this, Lucy still remains the Senior Organiser for the VSA ( Vocalist Songwriters Alliance) which is still loyally flying the flag for Professional Singer & Songwriters worldwide. www.vsa-global.org
